The Global Solvers Accelerator program of the Melton Foundation aims to unite, empower, and alter burgeoning social change agents globally in the direction of building a sustainable global society. The program's main objectives are to strengthen social impact activities, build collective leadership capabilities, and motivate transformative change that cuts across geographic and racial divides.
The Global Solvers Accelerator program provides up-and-coming social change agents with an in-person retreat over an eight-month period so they may hone their social impact projects, develop group leadership skills, and promote transformative change that supports the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The program offers possibilities for practical learning and application through a peer-driven and collaboration-based leadership strategy. Blended learning, project assignments, peer exchange, and subject matter advice are used by participants from many locations to develop essential competencies and increase the transformative potential of their social impact projects.
The course consists of eight monthly modules with overlapping themes, extensive peer interaction, useful techniques and tools, and personalized collaboration and support. Participants emerge from this transformative learning journey as collaborative, socially conscious community leaders who are fully prepared to sustainably change their surroundings. Young community development professionals with a track record of making a positive social impact and who are currently working on or leading a local impact project are eligible for the program. Eligible participants must be between the ages of 20 and 35.
Participants in the Global Solvers Accelerator program gain insightful knowledge and skills from peers and mentors alike. Young leaders have a rare opportunity through the program to increase their influence and develop into collaborative, socially conscious leaders who help create a sustainable future.
Programs like the Global Solvers Accelerator build a feeling of global community and collaboration by empowering and connecting up-and-coming social change agents from all backgrounds, which eventually results in a more just, sustainable, and fair society for all.
