Moms Against Poverty, a non-profit organisation focused on providing essential resources to underserved communities worldwide, announces its upcoming Health Series event. The event, titled "Brain Health and Disease; Healthy Aging," will feature Dr. Manizhe Eslami-Amirabadi, an expert in dementia diagnosis and treatment from the University of California, San Francisco, Memory and Aging Center. This event aims to raise awareness about health and wellness as crucial elements in addressing poverty.

Dr. Eslami-Amirabadi, who previously served as an assistant professor of neurology in Iran and completed her residency at Tufts University Medical Center in Boston, specialises in dementia and works extensively in research and treatment at UCSF-MAC.
Moms Against Poverty, inspired by a group of mothers recognising poverty as a barrier to children's potential, has been a 501(c)(3) global non-profit organisation since 2008. The organisation addresses poverty by providing education, health care and wellness, orphan care, and hunger and basic provisions. Through collaborations with local entities and global volunteers, they have impacted thousands of lives in the United States, Iran, and Senegal.
